InspirationThe opposite of luxury is not poverty its vulgarity-coco chanel. I am an optimist and activist concerning the community I hail from. I have grown in the hood. The hoods plaqued with poverty, frustration, and zombies. The hood is filled with Trayvon Martins and lil kims and the abscence of  really living. That’s my opinon, everyone’s entitled to one. For as long as I could remember, when  I looked at the black and brown faces in my communities and our “poverty”, I knew that our “poverty” was a lie.It wasnt our breadbozes, cupboards or wardrobes that were in the most dire need, it was in our hearts and minds.
